Explorers Hiking Club – Johnny Broyles Nature Trail (Little Elm)

Difficulty Level: Easy

Overview: The trail is an easy out and back crushed granite/dirt trail with a few good views of the lake. The trail is nice and wide with partial shade, and good parking is available at the trailhead. You occasionally pass some residential and commercial buildings on the south side of the trail but nothing overly distracting. Being located next to an extensive paved trail system and a nice park with good picnic facilities, this hike can be extended into a longer walk.
