Explorers Hiking Club – Johnson Branch Unit Trails (Lake Ray Roberts State Park)

Difficulty Level: Moderate
Overview: This trail is about an hour away from Frisco, and the scenery along the trail is very nice. The trail meanders through a small canyon to a shoreline trail and then loops back to the parking lot. Another DORBA trail system that is organized into different color loops. You can begin at the Dogwood Canyon trail then connect to the Red Loop and return by the Yellow Loop.

Notes: You must pay an entrance fee to the state park. Nice campsites next to the lake.
