Difficulty Level: Moderate
Overview: If you like long walks along the shoreline of Lake Grapevine, then you will enjoy this hike. This long out-and-back is used partly as an equestrian trail and much of the trail is sandy. You can access this trail at several places. The preferred trailhead is at the end of N. White Chapel Road, but that parking lot is small (5-10 cars). For a larger group, you can access the trail from the Bob Jones Nature Center in the middle of the trail or the northern Blue Stem trailhead. Wildlife abounds on this trail and includes good size coyote, deer, and large raptors.
Miles/Duration: 7.5 miles / ~3 hours and 45 minutes
Notes: The trail has very litle shade, so only hike this trail in mild conditions.
